JAMFEST INTO ITS 4TH WEEK

Monday, Nov 07 -- It's the fourth week of Jamfest2005, and the music plays on at Backyard
Pub, Sri Hartamas featuring Izzy, Benchmarx and 360 Degree Head Rotation.
Izzy is a singer-songwriter who has been playing the guitar since she was 12. She has played at several open mic and songwriter gigs and currently is in a duo with Jeremy Lim called Plush Velvet. Their music is described as "jazzy and pop-ish".
Benchmarx comprises five teachers with a bent for music and they play
an eclectic set of 80s and 90s hits as well as songs that "many bands
are either too afraid or ashamed to attempt."
The band comprises Eric Beck, Bill Madden, Steve Northcott, Erik
Richardson and Kenny Peavy.
360 Degree Head Rotation or 360DHR is an underground band that plays
original numbers inspired by the likes of Tom Waits, Bauhaus, Joy
Division, Hendrix, Clapton, Lennon and The Cure.
They "weave their own aural tapestry" in their shows and comprise
Rafil on rhythm guitar, Jack on lead guitar, Nazrul on bass and Nuhi on
drums.
Music kicks off at 9pm on Thursday, Nov 10th at 28, Jalan Sri Hartamas
8, Taman Sri Hartamas, KL.
