|
PRESS RELEASE by Backyardpub.com
The Backyard Pub & Grill is proud to bring you a tribute to Carlos Santana, the iconic Latin rock star who gave us such hits as Evil Ways, Black Magic Woman, Oye Como Va, Smooth and Maria, Maria.
The dynamic six-piece band La Viva featuring guitarist Alphonse Jerome will be performing all of Santana's greatest hits and more on July 20, 2005, which coincides with the living guitar legend's 58th birthday.
Bring your dancing shoes and salsa the night away to La Viva's vibrant combination of Latin American, R&B, Caribbean, reggae, classic rock, blues and dance music.
The show kicks off at 9.30pm and tequila shots will be served at RM6+ a pop between 10pm-12am.
La Viva comprises six talented musicians led by Alphonse, on lead guitar and vocals, with Mathew Charles, on bass and vocals, Eddie, on keyboards and vocals, drummer Che Mat, percussionist Atuk and Prem, on the timbales.
