3RD QUIZ: WIN A HOLIDAY TO GEM ISLE

This week at Backyard Pub & Grill:
TUESDAY,APRIL 19TH:
It's quiz night at Backyard at 9.30pm every Tuesday
night.
 Please note that the kind folks of Gem Wellness Spa &
Island Resort, located near Pulau Kapas off the coast
of Terengganu, have offered a 3D/2N stay as 1st
prize(approx RM675) for the winner of final quiz on
April 26th either at Backyard Pub or Bojangles.
The quiz finals is for all those who qualified from
earlier rounds and tonight.
There is only ONE prize up for the one who tallies up
more points either from The Backyard Pub or Bojangles
on that night.
So come tonight and qualify for the finals!
Backyard's original prizes still stand:
1st Prize: a bottle of Black Label or RM150 and two
jugs of beer (to be consumed within one week);
Runners-up gets a bottle of White Label or RM100.00
and one jug of beer (also to be consumed within one
week).
The quiz is organized by First Ray, developer of
interactive multimedia software for live game shows
for edutainment, team building, training and corporate
functions.
HOW QUIZ WORKS
1. The questions offer multiple choice answers.
2. For each quiz game, eight questions are displayed on the TV screens.
3. Participants submit their answers on the provided answer sheet.
4. Participants may select more than a single choice if they are uncertain
of the correct answer.
5. Once all 8 questions have been displayed, participants submit their
answer sheets, which are then tabulated.
6. Three rounds will be held and three winners will be declared every week.
7. In the event of a tie, a playoff is held before winner is declared.
8. Every winner receives a jug of beer and gets to take part in final on the 5th week.

Back by popular demand, JERICHO comprising of Colin
Jansen, Jason Noah and Raymond Chia.
PROFILE ON COLIN JANSEN OF JERICHO:
Colin was introduced into a musical career in the
early 1980's when he emerged the winner in a
talent-time contest in Ampang Park Complex singing
'Johnny Be Good'.
 A nearly fatal motor-bike accident, and with his leg
plastered because of a broken hip-bone, kept him at
home for a few months and made him take up a guitar,
given by his parents, to pass the time away.
Finding a great affinity for the guitar he quickly
learnt the various chords and played and sang songs.
He had already been introduced to songs from the 30's,
40's, 50's, 60's and 70's during singing sessions at
parties in the family circles, when his father, a
former musician, played the guitar and sang.
He gradually picked other types of music and found a
passion for rock, R&B, blues and contemporary music.
