Short History:
While just being formed in March 1st 2003, SWV became the Carlsberg CenterStage band champions of 2003. Our repertoire of songs include 60s to 70s (Beatles 2 the Bee Gees),80s to 90s (Wham to Prince), and the present (If you request it, we’ll try it). You may have seen us at these establishments: Backyard Pub (Hartamas KL), The Kit Kat Lounge (KL), Modesto’s Bar Uno (KL), Talking Heads (PJ), The Reef (PJ), Uncle Chili’s (PJ).

PROFILES:
Ridzuan and Seen were part of the Lost Souls Band
1995:Release debut album as the rhythm guitarist of Lost Souls. First single released was Everything I Own. It became the longest running number one on three local radio stations totaling a number of 15 weeks. Second single was Roller-Coaster became 2nd No. 1 single totaling 8 weeks on the Time Highway Radio. Nationwide tour to promote album. First local band to sell 70,000 copies of English album.

Chosen as the opening act for Bon Jovi at the Stadium Shah Alam on the 4th of May 1995. First and only Malaysian band to play in front of 80,000 people.

1996: Produced 2nd Lost Souls album called Chronicles of Kings. First single released was Sister Golden Hair which was the band's 3rd number one single song in the country. Second single released was called Your Touch and it became the longest running top ten song in the country totaling 17 weeks in the Pepsi Chart Show. Sponsored by Peter Stuyvesant on a 2nd nationwide tour. Album sales at 52,000 copies.

1999: Co-Produced 3rd album called Lostsouls.com.my. First single released was Leaving On A Jet Plane. It became the band's 4th number single. Started to be contracted by bars and nightclubs on a quarterly basis. Played approximately 15 clubs all over Malaysia.

Vishnu Shakthi
Vishnu is also a Soloist and an Audio Lecturer at ICOM (KL). He placed 4th at The Carlsberg CenterStage Soloist Category 2003. He was formerly a member of the Artstream Band and worked with Prema Lucas as a recording and live engineer.

He also performed with Ning Baizura and Prema Lucas and wrote music for the drama Idaman and Get Set Go, the Commonwealth Games Show.

As a soloist you can catch him at Mood Swings KL (Monday and Tuesday), Bistro Pub, PJ (Wednesday), Bojangles, Hartamas (Happy Hours, Friday).
