Soul Circle consists of Wayne, Wynne, Marcus and Joe:

KL-born Wayne Gideon says his favourite drummers are Jeff Porcaro, Harvey Mason and Omar Hakim with his favourite artistes Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder and Toto. It's not hard to see where his influences come from.

With his time divided between recording studios and the live performance arena, Wayne has spent most of his adult life sharpening his skills behind the drum kit. Having been involved in the music business for the past 17 years, his experience as a drummer covers a wide range of the musical spectrum.

Some of the people he has had the honor of performing with include master percussionist Steve Thornton (USA), Ning Baizura (Malaysia), Kris Dayanti (Indonesia), Sheila Majid (Malaysia), Jeremy Monteiro (Singapore) and many others. His work as a drummer, producer/engineer has taken him around the region from Hong Kong, Macau, Korea etc.

When not performing, he spends most of his time producing and composing original music for Local artists and radio/tv advertising themes. Known for his solid time keeping and musical approach, Wayne belongs to a select group of musicians who are adapt to both the ‘old’ and ‘new school’ of musical expression. This skill has been horned from having had the opportunities of performing music of contrasting genres such as R&B, Pop, Jazz, Rock and even traditional/fusion music. His drumming can also be heard on albums of various Malaysian artists.

Wayne currently performs with various Singaporean artists and musicians and is the co-founding member of R&B group, Soul Circle. During his spare time he takes the opportunity to give back what he has learnt by giving ‘one-on-one’ drum lessons to eager young drummers. He is also co-owner of ‘Soundmix Productions’, a well known recording studio in Singapore.

Wynne Sandosham has been involved in the Asian music industry since the age of 8, performing as a keyboardist, vocalist as well as a songwriter. Penning many jingles, his compositions for Multi-National Corporation has seen his songs reaching both U.S. and European audiences & agencies.

Locally he has produced albums with companies like Golden Strings International etc.

He has also arranged works for government projects like the National Day Parades and MIDI arrangements for the SAF Music & Drama Company. In addition, he has also taken up a role as conductor for international choral events like the prestigious ‘Europa Music Festival’ and contributing and setting directions with many a local band.

A lover of Acid Jazz and Dance Music, he performs “live” regularly at various clubs around Singapore. Also known as Singapore’s Stevie Wonder, his ‘live’ concerts are a ‘Big Hit’. Together with his band Soul Circle, they are currently recording as album of original adult contemporary songs. The album is to be released in 2007/08. Wynne is currently performing at popular music venues in central London.

Singapore-born Joe Jayaveeran, popularly known as Joe is well respected as one of the finest and renowned percussionist. He his recognized for his wide range of styles in playing different types of instuments from Latin, African, Brazilian, Indian and other assorted percussion instruments from around the world.

Joe, The Djembe Master has perform for big names like Grammy Award Winners Bobby Mcferrin, Nestor Torres, The Legendary Gipsy Kings, Hong kong actor and singer Jacky Cheong and many others just to name a few.

He has also travelled and played in China, Japan, Sweden, Germany. France, USA, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia for Concerts and festivals like Miles of Music Festival in Chicago, Seoul Drum Festival in Korea, Singapore Latin Festivals, Heineken Jazz series, Chimes jazz festivals, Womad , Mosaic Festivals and many more around the world and in the region,just to name a few. He was also invited to perform for world leaders like the King of Morroco, The Amir of state of Qatar, the Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, The Singapore Music Industry also recognizes his accomplishments.

His love of music led him also to imparting his knowledge in percussion. This is Joe’s way of giving back what he has learn and gain over the years. He is teaching aspiring young percussionist and moulding them in the performing arts. Joe is looking forward to share his unique style of playing with you.
