PHD is a hot and spicy group of great musicians from varied backgrounds. Each of its members bring with them a myriad of extensive experience. Their music genre and playing styles include music from the 60's to the 90's. PHD combines young and fresh members with older, more experienced musicians who have decades of music playing experience combined.

Poova - A mezzo soprano singer and keyboardist, Poova has been singing and playing the piano from a young age. Having to have sung with the band for 2 years, this versatile singer croons all genres of music and also composes her own songs. She has also done some recordings and voice over in studios and has contributed original compositions to singers. This new talented musician is a fresh of breath air and is definitely worth checking out.

Hiroaki Maekawa - Hiroaki Maekawa better known as Hiro has been playing the bass for 5 years now and is currently studying in ICOM. He is the youngest member in the band, but don't get fooled with his youth as he can rip the bass with his electrifying bass solos. He is also involved with his father's band playing blues when required to.

Hardeepak Sohanpal - Deepak has been playing for over a period of 16 years. He is one of the untapped talents of the MAlaysian music scene. Bands played include Blues sinners, Strange and Rhythm. Rhythm entered the Band Alert Contest in 1999 with 256 other bands. They won 4th place overall with Deepak winning the best guitarist award. Deepak has also sessioned for Reshmonu on his monumental album, where he played on most of the tracks. He worked with David Gomez where they produced jingles for KIA Spectra and others.

Mohd. Shahril - Also known as Bob, Mohd. Shahril is a vocalist with a unique high-pitched voice range. Bob has been singing since secondary school. His interest in music and singing started as a choir singer at school then progressed to a vocalist for a rock band. He has founded a few bands, notably Dark Aged and Silver Strangers. He has also played with recording band Black Maria and classic rock band Bonfire. Bob is mainly influenced by 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's rock music. However, he also loves to go with the more modern tunes occasionally.
